Improvement of food safety control system in Ukraine (CIB Programme for Ukraine)

The project aims to contribute to the improvement of food safety in Ukraine "from farm to fork" by aligning Ukrainian legislation, institutional infrastructure, and system of State controls with the regulatory and administrative policies and practices of the EU.

Qualifications: 

Qualifications and skills

  •     Degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or other discipline relevant to the activities to be undertaken. Alternatively 5 more years of general professional experience than specified below;
  •     Additional qualification(s) in database design, network management, business process mapping, or other relevant subject would be an asset;
  •     Fluency in written and spoken English;
  •     Working knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian language would be an asset.

General professional experience

  •     At least 7 years of general professional experience;

Specific professional experience

  •     At least 4 years of experience in the planning, design and installation of integrated data management systems;
  •     Experience of developing, planning and implementing data management systems for a state food safety or veterinary or phytosanitary service in an EU Member State, and/or candidate country and/or a potential candidate country and/or a country that is now part of the European Neighbourhood or Eastern Partnership will be an advantage.
  •     Experience working in a similar EU-funded project in a candidate country and/or a potential candidate country and/or a country that is now part of the European Neighbourhood or Eastern Partnership would be an asset.
