Sector Export Coaching Southeastern Europe WINE

The Export Coaching experts will contribute to the objective of CBI’s SEEWine Programme (SEE stands for: South East Europe) to increase wine exports from SEEWine companies to the European market.

The Export Coaching experts will contribute to the programme by supporting participating companies in their preparation for the European market and in their European market entry activities, through coaching, consultancy and training, sharing knowledge about export marketing and the European wine market, and facilitating relevant contacts with buyers on the European market.

Qualifications: 

The expert must be able to act fully independent as a representative of CBI in the relevant sector. This entails, among others, that the expert should not be exclusively contracted or employed by (or own) one selling party or one European importing company that purchases products covered by this lot from developing countries covered by this lot.

Professional experience
At least six (6) years of relevant experience in the European Wine market over the last eight (8) years.

Extensive experience in import into Europe in a commercial, technical or consultancy role (or combination thereof) in the wine market.

Professional experience in the SEE Region in the last 3 years.

Experience with providing distant learning & guidance.

Experience with performing on site export audits of companies (at least 10 export audits performed by expert over the last 3 years).

Experience with coaching companies in developing countries (at least 5).

Experience with (organizing) trade fairs, or other business match-making activities (at least 5 over the last 3 years).

Knowledge
Profound knowledge of trends, developments, distribution channels and market players in the European wine market.

Knowledge of legislative requirements and market standards in the European wine market.

Wine related qualification obtained through a recognized wine education institute.

Knowledge of the wine supply situation in the beneficiary countries.

Network
Excellent network of EU buyers in the wine market.

Skills
Demonstrable sound command of English, both spoken and written.

Proven excellent inter-cultural advisory skills.

 

Start / Duration: 

Duration of the Framework Agreement:

The initial duration of the Framework Agreement will be one year, with an option to extend up to four years in total.
