Renewable Energy Programme (REP)

The Renewable Energy Programme (REP) has been implemented to improve the access to energy from renewable sources, focusing especially on income-generating activities. The present assignment aims at providing long-term support and strategic consultancy to the Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) to ensure an efficient and successful implementation of the REP.

Team Leader_Bangladesh_Food Value Chain Improvement Project

The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (hereinafter referred to as "JICA") to finance Food Value Chain Improvement Project which is to improve credit access for agribusiness and food processing industries and enhance the quality and productivity of processed products by providing concessional loans for their facility investment and working capital, thereby contributing to improvement of the whole food value chain in Bangladesh.

Myanmar_Strengthening of Public Financial Management at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation

The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is to build MoALI capacity to achieve the A/NSRC overall and specific objectives as follows: Contribute to the reduction of all forms of undernutrition in women of reproductive age, infant and under-five children.

The purpose is to support the introduction of nutrition expenditure-sensitive PFM systems aligned to the Myanmar PFM reform strategy at Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (MoALI).

Myanmar_Team Leader Agriculture sector specialist (minimum 880 working days)

Small and Medium Enterprises Access to Finance Project

The development of a large, competitive and innovative SMEs sector is one of the key elements of Lao PDR’s long-term development strategy. As in other countries in the world, SMEs create most of the private sector jobs in the economy and are a critical element for poverty alleviation and shared prosperity. Despite impressive macroeconomic performance in the past years, most firms in Lao PDR still remain small.

Myanmar_Strengthening of Public Financial Management at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation

The technical assistance will consist in:

  • Support to the rolling out of the Myanmar PFM reform strategy at Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation;
  • Support Government of Myanmar in achieving the results of the variable tranche indicators under budget support related to public financial management.

These focus on achieving more effective and measurable nutrition-sensitive service delivery in the agriculture sector at national and state/region level (Shan, Ayeyarwady).

The LDDP project seeks to promote climate resilient productivity growth, enhance market access' and improve risk management among smallholder farmers and Agro-entrepreneurs, by providing support for climate smart production systems, farmer empowement and commercialization.
