In anticipation of upcoming tenders and projects financed by the European Development Fund (EDF), we would like to invite interested candidates to apply to a technical assistance position as “Contract and Finance Expert” or similar.

Qualifications and skills

He/ She should have a Master degree in Accounting, Financial Audit and/or Business Administration and Management or similar. He/ she must be fluent in French and/or English.

General professional experience

He/ she will possess at least 5 years of working experience of which 3 years of practice in the Administrative Financial management.

Specific professional experience

He/ She will have a proven experience in project/program under the EDF administrative and financial procedures in sub-Saharan Africa countries. He/ she should have at least 3 years work experience in:

• Financial management of EU-financed projects (particularly 9th EDF);

• Management of Programme Estimate;

• Training of beneficiaries in administrative and financial issues related to the EDF procedures;

• Support to National Authoriser Officer (NAO);

• Financial/Accounting management software (TOMFED, TOMPRO, etc.) will be appreciated.
